“Tableau du Ciel”….
What am I talking about? Keep reading and you will find out!!
‘Sweet’ by RSVP-to-me has done it again! We were given an event that was Paris themed and were told to simply create magic. Well…we think we created more than magic…we created a masterpiece. So much so, that it was featured in 201 Family Magazine – March 2014 issue!
What did we put together for our edible version of Paris? Our table of sweet treats included yellow cake cupcakes with light pink frosting as the base to our delicate chocolate Eiffel Towers; white chocolate mousse drizzled with raspberry sauce and topped with fresh raspberries (to die for!); beautifully decorated and iced sugar cookies in the shape of Eiffel towers, as well as scalloped circles perfectly stacked with black satin ribbon embellishment. The cake pops came in two flavors: yellow cake and red velvet – all neatly wrapped with a custom tag by RSVP to me that carried through motif of the day. Ice cream cone cupcakes, raspberry shortbread and a two-tiered plate of macaroons that did not last 5 minutes into the party completed this delectable dessert table!
The table decor included fabulous mercury silver candelabras, hydrangeas in French creamers, and gorgeous metal replicas of the Eiffel Tower. The table was backdropped by gorgeous white lacing curtains which hung beautifully behind two gorgeous antique frames that were custom painted to match the pink party, with the mirrors striped black to match the black Eiffel Towers.
I saved the best for last…the breath-taking 3-tier black and white cake. It was accented with 3 gorgeous bright pink flowers and black and white striped candles completed the base of the cake. With another Eiffel Tower standing tall on the top, it framed out the cake, leaving the prize of the cake for all to see, “Baby Ruby” scrolled across the 2nd tier of the cake let everyone know just why they were all there.
This table was a personal favorite of mine and cannot wait to see what they come up for Ruby’s 1st birthday party!
The wait is finally over…we just received these beautiful photos from Gulnara Studio
from Andrea and Mark’s wedding at the W Hotel. Can we just say GORGEOUS!!! We had the honor of designing their wedding invitations along with their day of stationery for this very special couple. From the very first meeting with the couple, it was very important to them that everything was classy, elegant and over-the-top. We designed these gorgeous pocketfold invitations using silver glitter, black and charcoal gray and added this rhinestone buckle to top it off.
The place cards were adorned with a single rhinestone to carry out the elegance throughout the wedding. Planners, Lulu’s Event Design
and Florist, Karma Flowers
had the place cards set in 12 x 12 trays with purple stones.
We used the glitter paper as a layer on the menu cards to really make the menu pop on the tables.
A big thank you to Andrea and Mark for allowing us to be apart of your special day. We wish you both a lifetime of love, xo
Recently, I had the pleasure of helping during the design for a very special baby shower…for “The Glam Fairy” herself, Alexa Prisco – of ‘Jerseylicious’ fame. It was such an honor and pleasure to work with such a fine and fun group of women during the design – to name a few…Kim Myl of Lulu’s Event Design who planned the entire gorgeous event; Trish of ‘Karma Flowers’ who provided the amazingly beautiful florals & candle decor; and Kenia of ‘I Love Cake Pops’, who provided her delicious cake pops that always go over SO well! The event was as chic and glamorous as one would expect for “The Glam Fairy”. Needless to say, doing the stationery and the custom candy buffet was such a treat for me.
Alexa Prisco had hopes of having a true one of a kind bash that was nothing but glamorous and stylish. Kim from Lulu’s Event Design helped to turn these dreams into a reality for The Glam Fairy, and I am so honored to have been part of this celebration.
‘RSVP to me’ created the adorable “It’s a Girl” tags for the OPI nail polish favors – SUCH a cute idea for favors, right?! They definitely went along with the whole “glamorous” theme! The custom word find puzzles were also fun to create for Alexa’s guests. Finally, the idea of a candy buffet table was thrown into the mix and it seemed to be the hit of the party. Alexa stated in her blog the following: “One of my favorite parts of the party was the Candy Bar by RSVP to me! This was such a hit with all my family members who have just as much as a sweet tooth as I do. An incredible interactive way for guests to have fun and embrace their inner child! I loved the oversized vintage candy jars with customized labels and fun black damask bags for guests to fill that said “Alexa’s Baby Shower!” (see the whole blog at http://www.theglamfairy.com/blog/?p%3D647).
So, I just wanted to take a minute and thank Alexa Prisco, “The Glam Fairy” herself, AND Kim of Lulu’s Event Design for allowing me to be a part of this fabulous celebration! We wish Alexa and Danny all the happiness in the world, especially when they welcome their sweet baby girl!!
